Betty and Family,
I was fortunate and proud to call Don my friend. I thoroughly enjoyed his company and valued his counsel and advice. When I was down he could make me laugh. He was truly one of a kind. I will never forget him. You have my sincere and heartfelt condolensces.

Betty and family,
I share my condolences during this time of great loss. I had the pleasure of working with Don at Kelly AFB. He was my supervisor in Bldg 308, I was the secretary for his flight. He was a very kind and gentle man. He was a pleasure to work for. I still remember to this day when my assignment was up, we parted and he had tears in his eyes. I pray that he rest in peace. A great loss to those who knew him.

Oh Betty. I am so sorry about Don. I worked with him often at Kelly and I always enjoyed his attitude and dry wit. I will miss him. The world is a lesser place without him.

Betty,
It was so sad to learn of Don's passing. We worked together in 171 and he was always a neat guy to have working with you on a committee or IPT because you could always depend on him. He was a great guy who will be missed. Lorna and I will keep you in our prayers.

Betty and Sons,
I remember seeing Don on the golf course during tournaments in our days at Kelly AFB. I didn’t have the privilege of meeting and working with him until 2004 after our move to Robins in 2001. He was a walking encyclopedia in logistics. We could always count on him for sound advice and direction in our day to day working experiences. He leaves with us a huge void as we can only imagine what you and your sons are feeling and will continue to feel. Sara and I send our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to you and your boys (young men). May God hold and comfort all of you in the days and years to come.
