Anica, I was sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. I sure thought a lot of him, and I hope he was able to pass his kindness and compassion on to his grandkids. That will be his legacy, a life lived honorablly. The whole family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Raymond was a wonderful man, and one of the most delightful men I have ever worked with. Raymond led by example and there was no question about his faith. We will all miss him. Ruthie and I will be thinking of your family in our prayers.

Mr. Crowder sold a lot of light bulbs in his day but none he sold will ever shine brighter than the one he carried daily as witness to our Lord and Savior. A great guy who's life on earth was a positive influence on all who knew him.

My condolences to Raymond's family. I was also born in Merigold and I remember Raymond when in school there. I often wondered where he went when leaving Merigold. Once again condolences to his family.

I came to work for Mr. Crowder in December of 1986 in Jackson, Ms. I was impressed with his ways and style of leadership from the very beginning. He was a gentle man that taught me very much, not just about the business but about how to conduct myself in all aspects of my life. I will always love and respect Mr. Crowder and he will forever have a place in my heart and my life. Goodbye old friend, you may be gone from this life but you will never be forgotten.

Mr. Crowder was my Manager from 1975 until he retired and taught me many things. He is one of the finest I had the pleasure of knowing.

Raymond was a kind, gentle, warm man of God and a good friend who was always there to help anyone out. He truly walked the talk and was a wonderful man. Although we will miss him we will cherish his memory and know that he is reaping his heavenly reward.

We were introduced and barely got to know one another beginning in November of 2008. But as a brother and sister in Christ you were family. We haven't lost anyone when we know exactly where he is, and we'll all meet again just beyond the Eastern Gate. God bless and keep the family during this trying and stressful period, knowing our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Mrs. Crowder,
It was such a great pleasure to have worked with someone as gracious and caring as Mr. Crowder. It never surprised me to see Raymond speak of his faith and convictions. We all enjoyed his wisdom and his decication to Irby.
May God Bless you and your family during these trying times.

Dear Family,
May God bless and comfort you. Raymond was a lovely Christian gentleman, a hard worker and a loyal associate. Of course, his greatest witness was his acceptance of, and submission to, Christ as his Lord and Savior. Raymond's faith was alive with the witness of his words, attitude and work.
We pray for your comfort. See Isaiah 41:10:
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

To the Crowder family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I have known Mr. Crowder since my childhood days at Highland Baptist Church. He left a lasting influence on both my personal and professional life. It was an honor to have known and worked for such a Great man. He will be missed.
