Liz, no one could have been a better friend. We shared laughter and heartbreak for over 15 years. You were such a giving person in life and you continue in death. I know your contribution to ALS research will not be in vain. I am blessed to have many happy memories of you. You and Earl raised a beautiful daughter and had a great marriage. You accomplished all of the important things in life. Love forever my Sister.

Earl and Emily, Liz will always be in our prayers, as will each of you. Pat and I, Theresa, and the girls have kept, and will always keep her and you in our hearts as friends. Sorry to be so distant and out of touch. May our good Lord strengthen you and lift you up always. May God bless you both.

Earl ("Uncle Coot") please know that our prayers are with you. Liz was a wonderful woman, and without a doubt she made you a very happy man. What a blessing.

Emily, from experience, we can tell you, your mother will live forever in your heart. Hold to those memories, and live with no regrets. You and your dad were her life. What more could a person ask for than to be loved? The three of you loved completely.

My prayers are with the family. Liz was a good friend to me during our Jr.and Sr. High School years. I treasure those memories and am happy that I was able to reconnect with Liz over the last three years. Liz was one of the most courageous people I've ever met. She endured this disease with dignity, strength and determination, all while being selfless in her generosity to be a part of a research program to help future ALS patients. Liz, you are forever in my heart.

Oh Liz. You fought the good fight and gave it everything you had. In the process you had us all standing in awe. The world has lost a wonderful teacher, co-worker, friend, wife, mother, sister, and daughter. I met you on my (and your) first day at Howard Middle School and I will never forget you. ((((Hugs)))))) My prayers go out to your family. You will be so missed.

To Liz's family, My prayers are with all of you. I taught Liz when she at Wesleyan working on her education degree and certification. I knew she was going to be a great classroom teacher. Now, she has been an amazing teacher of strength and unselfishness. Please accept my condolences.
