Growing up I always thought Uncle Jack was superhuman. I never understood how he was able to be in so many places at one time whether a call, a card, or showing up. He was just always there. His presence and his silence was powerful and I will always remember how someone can make you feel so good without even saying anything but by smiling, listening, pointing at you with a grin, the list goes on.

I did not think the last time I would see you was at my graduation and on your birthday. My heart is broken for Joni, Jackie Nanny, the grand kids, and all the family and friends who knew and were close Uncle Jack. His impact on people's lives was less about talk and more about action and love.

I am proud to say you were my Godfather and I thank you for your love and support from the beginning of my life to the end of yours. I will always miss you and love you. Goodbye Uncle Jack.

My deepest sympathy to the Jenkins family. Jackie was my schoolmate and teammate at Mary Hooker, New Park, and HPHS. I will always remember his athletic exploits and his infectious smile. May the Lord be with the family during these difficult times.

Unfortunately Mr. Jenkins, I did not get the opportunity to meet you but you and your wife produced one of the best people (Joni) anyone could ever want to meet. The love you and your wife have for Joni is shown through her beautiful smile and warm heart. With what I know about her that was instilled by the two of you, I have missed a treat gettig to know you. I pray for your peace and for God to wrap his loving arms around the family you left behind during this time of your life's celebration. Love ya Joni.

Nanny, I love you dearly and you are forever in my prayers and thoughts as you mourn the loss of your soul mate. Uncle Jack was like no other. I will always remember the unconditional love he gave, the gentle hugs, the bend over the table because you were laughing so hard moments and so much more. He was thankful for you, you are the rock and the mesh that has always held everyone together. Stay strong Nanny.

Jackie and Joni, as children I don't know if we ever foresee this day coming, but as your little cousin and Godsister know that I am now here for you. The pain may seem unbearable, but know that your Dad has made it home and he's forever with you in your steps and in the steps of your children. He will live through you all each and everyday.

Uncle Jack, you are like no other. It's been said a million times. Thank you for being apart of my life and for truly being one of the greatest men I will ever know.

I love you.
