Warner Robins – Robert G. Mau, 73, went to be with his Lord on February 23, 2010.
Mr. Mau was born on January 16, 1937 in Hebron, Illinois and lived there until moving to Warner Robins in 1999. He was a member of First Christian Church in Centerville. He had a passion for basketball and participated in the 1952 State Championship game won by his alma mater of Alden-Hebron High School. Mr. Mau worked for Union Special as a supervisor. He loved his family, enjoyed his grandchildren and lived life to the fullest. His parents, Theodore Mau and Alice Hocrath Mau and son, Scott Mau preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty six years, Carolyn Mau, Warner Robins; children, Evyette Hanson (Mike), Zion, Illinois; Denise Miller (Patrick), Genoia City, Wisconsin; Cassie Waters (Mike), Lexington, South Carolina; and seven grandchildren
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at First Christian Church of Centerville.
