Roberta Tomberlin Lovett, born November 11, 1928, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Coliseum Medical Centers at the age of 83.
Daughter of the late John B. Tomberlin and Ollie Revels Tomberlin, Roberta was born in Mystic, Georgia, Irwin County. She attended Irwin County High School and graduated in 1945. She was preceded in death by her twin sons, Guy Bradley McCoy in August 1968 and Gary Bradford McCoy in December 2007.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Wall, Whiteland, Indiana; daughter, Deborah M. Mateo, Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; son, John Achord, Warner Robins; daughter, JoAnn Capps, Burleson, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roberta is greatly missed by all who loved her.
Per her wishes, she was buried alongside her twin sons in the Tomberlin Family Cemetery in Mystic, Georgia on Saturday, August 25, 2012.
