Rex A. Roberts, 53, entered into rest on Sunday, July 1, 2012.
Rex was born on November 30, 1958 in Fort Valley, Georgia. A long-time resident of Warner Robins, he retired from Robins Air Force Base Fire Department after twenty-nine years of service and was a volunteer fireman with the Houston County Fire Department. Rex was a member of Southside Baptist Church and will always be remembered as a beloved grandfather. His son, Chris Paulk; parents, Ernest C. Roberts and Mary Herringdine Roberts; and sisters, Della Butler and Carolyn Lord, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Malindie Ann Roberts; children, Rebecca Cowan and Matthew Hancock; grandchildren, Lexie, Trent, and Grant Cowan, and Connor Marcy; sisters, Reba Aman, Runette Cadwell; brothers, Colin Roberts, and Seaborn Roberts; and nieces and nephews, Holly Geronzin, Clay Cadwell, Angela Farley, Stephanie Henry, Jeanette Roberts, Jennifer Woodson, and Marlena Roberts.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend Myke Harbuck will officiate.
