Harold Cleveland Crawford, Jr., 63, entered into rest on Saturday, May 26, 2012.
Mr. Crawford, born October 11, 1948, in Jacksonville, Florida, proudly served his country in the United States Marines, and was a recipient of two Purple Hearts. He later worked at Salson as a truck driver. An avid fisherman, his church home was Livingstone Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Crawford; sister, Betty Jean Waters; and parents, Harrell C. Crawford and Teresa Grooms Crawford.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Harold Crawford, III, and Sherry Crawford; siblings, Bobby Crawford (Helen), Sandra Waiwaiolle, David Crawford (Karen), Tommy Perry, Blair Perry and Kenny Perry; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 28, 2012, at Livingston Baptist Church in Fort Valley, Pastor David Idigpio officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Andersonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Battered Women's Shelter of Warner Robins, P.O. Box 2408, Warner Robins GA 31088.
